Hans Memling' s Last Judgement Tryptich

Images are worth a thousand words, aren't they?
Though Lady Dunnett could certainly paint an image with just a few words.

But I never knew exactly what Nicholas and Kathi thought was so funny,
in that tryptich

that had "accidentally" ended up in Danzig (Gdansk), in Caprice and Rondo. I was prepared to be dazzled by Memling's Last Judgment but was dazzled beyond that. Only the images can do justice to it.

So, had Tommaso Portinari already paid Memling for his portrait or not?
